The Lollipop & Icecream Approach To List Building

List building tactics to implement

Do you remember as a child going to the local corner store? Pocket money in hand ready to choose your favourite lollipop. Or perhaps try your luck on a new flavour?

I sure do.

It reminds me of the song ‘Sunshine and Lollipops’ sung by Lesley Gore.

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,

Everything that’s wonderful is what I feel when we’re together.

Have I got you wanting for a lollipop RIGHT NOW?

Well, that’s how building your subscriber list should be. It should be fun, easy and worth singing about.

And if ice-cream is more your style, imagine list building as a visit to Baskin & Robbins, Cold Rock or Ben & Jerry’s.

That’s the thing about building your subscriber list… there are plenty of options and you can pick your favourites!!

Some of my favourites I’ve implemented to date are free reports, a teleseminar, selling info products, hosting a blog challenge and social media promotion.

There are so many more to learn but I have a plan!

Last year I participated in the most brilliant list building challenge and I’m doing it again this year. In fact I’ve been invited to be one of the guest presenters.

Insert completely hysterical, giggly, entirely grateful Caylie right here.

List-A-Palooza is a 90 day challenge to add 10,000 targeted subscribers to your list. It’s starting again on May 30th. Yes, in two days.

Every week you get access to two training calls with experts to teach you a new step-by-step strategy to build your list. There are weekly power hours to implement each tactic and accountability check ins to keep you focused.

Personally, I love the private Facebook group because everyone is so supportive and really on the bandwagon to help each other succeed.

I’m super keen to get a group of us working through this together. I’d be happy to host a monthly check in/accountability call for our group if you were keen.

Many of my Better Business Better Life clients were and are people I added through List-A-Palooza last year so I know it works.

If you decide to register for FREE you will be offered a $27 VIP package which gives you all the recordings. I really recommend this as you can go back, listen and implement throughout the year. Also, many calls are held during the Aussie night so it’s much nicer to sleep then listen the next day.

I need LOTS of beauty sleep.

If you do decide to take up the VIP offer you should be aware I am an affiliate and will receive a small commission. No pressure to go through my link – regardless of how you register, please do register as this challenge is worth it’s weight in gold!!

Are you in??

  1. This sounds brilliant! I’ve been brainstorming some list building things lately so I’m definitely keen to join in.

Thanks for sharing it and for getting Sunshine & Lollypops stuck in my head haha!

    • Lol Katherine. It’s been playing in my head all day. Now if only I knew more than two lines… 😉

    • Sweet dreams Tonya! List-A-Palooza is a great chance to grow your list and collaborate with peers. Hope you’ll join us 🙂

  2. I came over from Kylie’s blog;).

This looks interesting! I just signed up. My current list? Well, I just started it a month ago…and it is an abysmal 35. Oh my. Worse yet, I have no idea what I am going to do with my list even with the people on it. Hmmm….

    • Way to go Amanda! 35 in a month is great!
I’m not sure I had anyone on my list the first month.
List-A-Palooza will be an awesome kick start for you.

  3. Sounds fun, although I thought is free. Too bad can’t afford it right now! Anyway great idea, keep it going Caylie

    • Hi Viktor,
You can definitely join List-A-Palooza for free. It just means you won’t get access to the sessions post live call (i.e. you won’t be able to log in to the recordings).
I’d definitely encourage you to join for free still as even if you only caught a couple of calls live it will offer you a ton of value.
      Cheers, Caylie
